RAINN's Mission
RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800-656-HOPE | online.rainn.org | rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

National Sexual Violence Resource Center
The National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) is the leading nonprofit in providing information and tools to prevent and respond to sexual violence. NSVRC translates research and trends into best practices that help individuals, communities, and service providers achieve real and lasting change. The center also works with the media to promote informed reporting.
Every April, NSVRC leads Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAMM), a campaign to educate and engage the public in addressing this widespread issue.
NSVRC is also one of the three founding organizations of RELIANCE, a national, collaborative initiative dedicated to creating equitable, respectful, and safe environments.
NSVRC is a primary division of Respect Together.

Take Back The Night
Take Back The Night is the oldest worldwide movement to stand against sexual violence in all forms. TBTN began in the 1970's with a Tribunal Council meeting in Belgium attended by 2,000+ women representing 40+ countries. Their earliest activists protested the lack of safety for women, such as walking down the street alone at night.
The global mission for TBTN as a charitable 501 (c)(3) Foundation, is to end sexual violence in all forms, including sexual assault, sexual abuse, trafficking, stalking, gender harassment, and relationship violence, and to support survivors in their healing journeys.
TBTN events unite people from every background, belief, and culture around the world to take a visible and vocal stand.
