You’ll find abbreviations, STDs, STIs, sexual education, exploitation, health, women’s rights, everything to do with LGBT+…anything that remains on topic to what we talk about here on the SEX+ blog.
These are actual definitions and not the kind of definitions that any schmuck can put in like on Urban Dictionary or Reddit.
Also, keep in mind, that there will tons of articles on every topic mentioned here. Watch for article posts and page updates. And eventually the ARCHIVES.

The termination of a pregnancy before birth.
AGE OF CONSENT
The age at which the law considers the person in question old enough to make the decision to have sex. HOWEVER, the law depends on the state or territory in which you reside in and where the possible act may take place. You can only give consent in certain sexual acts, not all, once you have reached the state or territories lawful age is reached.
Until you have reached the age of consent, the law says you cannot give permission to have sex.
IT DOES NOT MATTER if you came to an agreement to have sex with someone, that person can still be charged with sexual assault if you have not reached the state or territories law’s age of consent.
ANAL SEX
A sexual act where the anus is being penetrated. You’d think it would only be the man’s member…but…no…no…people shove all sorts of stuff up there.
Just be careful with whatever tickles your pickle because you can land yourself in the ER and be a favorite story for years to come.
ANDROGYNY
A gender identity or appearance that is not clearly male or female.
Example: David Bowie before he met Trent Reznor. Or English actress Tilda Swinton.
ANUS
The anus is the opening at the end of the digestive tract where stool leaves the body.
AREOLA
There are multiple definitions for this word but in terms of sexual education and human biology, the areola is the surrounding area of the nipple. It is usually darker in appearance to the rest of the skin of the human breast.
The average diameter of the areola is 2.5”, ranges in sizes, and shapes, just like the color depending on each individual, WHICH IS COMPLETELY NORMAL. Don’t let some panty waste convince you otherwise, they’re probably self-conscious about their own bullshit, so they’re projecting it onto others.
Fuck them. You’re beautiful. Shut up.
ASEXUAL
Asexual describes an individual who is simply does not experience sexual attraction. That is literally it.
An asexual person can be anyone; does not matter on sex, gender, age, race, or if you’re rich or poor. Its anyone. It could be someone you know.
BALLS
Balls are a slang term for a man’s testicles.
BI-CURIOUS
A lot of people mistakingly interchange bi-curious and bisexual. They actually do not mean the same thing at all.
Bi-curious is a term to describe when an individual is open to and curious about exploring or experimenting with bisexuality.
Hence the word, “curious.”
BISEXUAL
Bisexual is classified as a sexual orientation.
PLEASE NOTE:
There are two definitions. The traditional, which is technically outdated. And the modern definition.
TRADITIONAL DEFINITION:
An individual who is attracted to women and men.
MODERN DEFINITION:
An individual who is attracted to the same gender as self, or to two, more, or all genders.
BIGENDER
Bigender is classified as a gender identity.
A bigender individual identifies as two distinct gender identities either simultaneously or alternate between the two gender identities, but not experiencing them equally or feeling the same way equally.
Example:
A bigender person may be both a man and a woman, agender or neutrois, or non-binary and a woman.
The term bigender first appeared in the 1980’s with the etymology of androgyny label as bigenderist.
The heavily rooted definitions then were, “either gender role,” and, “having two genders.”
Bigender is an identity under the transgender umbrella.
